This is a scammer trying to scam cars off Auto Trader from over 1000 miles away.

100% Scam, the old "pay by PayPal and have a service pick up the car" scam.

I live in Peoria, Illinois. I was contacted by this scammer. Do not trust them. uses the email [email protected]

and again today on a different car.

Same as above. Wanted me to take pictures of my engine and email to them. I actually got two other texts like this today. What a mess

Same as hillary, et al.  Got a text the day after posting an ad on autotrader asking for engine photo to be sent to [email protected]
