I just received a call from this number. The call was in spanish, to humor him I spoke back to him in spanish. He said he was looking for his uncle, and he said my dads name. My dad has been dead for 15 years, for a second I thought is this for real so I asked him his name twice, and he hung up. This person is a sorry excuse for a human being.

This number called saying they where a cousin of mine from mexico, Stating that he and a couple of friends where visiting family in kentucky and that they where passing thru here in illinois also so they are expected at my home at 4:00 pm funny thing is my mom did not tell them our address. after calling Mexico for further information nobody ever heard of any family coming up here to the U.S. We notified are city police department they said they cant do a thing unless they show up in our property and trespassing. Il be waiting?'
This scam has been around a while. They always follow up with a second phone call, claiming that the mythical cousin is:
1. in jail and needs money for bail
2. in the hospital after an accident and needs money for a doctor
3. detained by customs and, yes, needs money
4. has been robbed/ kidnapped... you know the rest.
The guy made me guess what cousin he was so I set him atrap and made up a name he fell for it and I told him I don't have a cousin with that name. He hunged up. Freaken coward. U know u can't fool me.
This is scary and very strange called our overseas family to finalize and it was all a lie. I'm glad I found this page. This exact number is calling me yet again for the 6th time in a row .
