ID was Aurora, IL. I've been calling Aurora, IL for business in the last few weeks and have recognized a pattern. After making repeated calls to a certain region, I'll start to receive SCAMS, telemarketers and robocalls from the area code and exchange that I've been doing business in. This makes it increasingly difficult to answer any incoming calls and wondering if these scum are able to identify where I'm calling through my TWC phone service. Any thoughts?
Yes, we too get many of these robo-calls. You answer, and get nothing in response. Dead air, and then a hang up. It is a waste of our time answering the calls. When you call the number back, you get an automated voice that says all of our operators are busy at this time and press "1" to have your number put on our Do Not Call List.. You do that, and THEN the recording says if you want to know the name and address of the company calling you, dial 716-932-3240. You call that number, and they tell you that the 331-256-9900 number belongs to a Symmetry (?) BJB Systems, LLC at 1115 14th Street, Bedindorf, Iowa 52722. What nonsense can this be? And why are they bothering us?
