This spanish speaking [***] tried to scam my mom. He said that he was a nephew Carlos and is in Sacramento driving south bound and wanted to surprise her and stop by and stay the night. My mom thinking that it was my cousin they started chatting a bit.. he said that he was going to call when his close by and hung up. He called again within a few hours and said that he got into a accident and since they didn't want to get the police involved that he agreed to pay him off. He said he had some money and a uncashed check... according to him he had paid the other driver all his cash but was still short $300 and that he wanted my mom to wire him the money and that as soon as he gets here he will pay her back. My mom knew right away that this was a scam and called him out on it ....after that he never picked up the phone again.
Its a shame that our own people would scam others this way.. all i can say is that karma is a [***] and hopefully these [***] get caught... please mi jente be aware!
