I read if you answer the call its worse , then the caller knows its a live number. There is obviously no end. Second scam call today. I stopped answering. At some point I will purchase a call blocker. There is no way this will stop. These are some really stupid people who can't do anything else.
I have recently gotten calls from this number on my cell and from another # on my home phone however they had blocked the number on caller ID on my home phone. It is a recording saying I have been selected for a life alert medical device. I did hit whatever # they said to to talk to a rep, told them I was not old enough to need life alert and please take me off their list. Of course they did not. There seems to be a renewed vengeance with these calls in the past few months, mostly for the card services scam but a wide variety of numbers, and if you try to call them back the calls never go thru, many are "unassigned". Very aggravating.
They need to add an option to the call type list on here of SCAM
This is a fraudulent/scammer call, states, "Hi, this is Scott from Account Services. Thanks to the recent Government bailout.."... just hung up and reported to Do Not Call .gov
Didn't see any record of this recent number so wanted to post it up.
"Scott from Account Services". Once the female drone answered, she prompted me about my credit card information. Since I said it was a USAA account, she said she would call me back in a few minutes so I could collect further information on my USAA account. We'll see if she does, typically they don't follow through.
