The person who called you is a scam artist. He has over 100 numbers he calls from. He is scary, but don't give him any money - otherwise he wins! He can't arrest you. He has a strong accent and can be forceful on the phone, but DO NOT give him any money. If he calls back, tell him he is a scammer. He called me too!
I just got a call for a fourth time saying I was being charged with check fraud (that's a new one to me because I never write check for anything. He told me not to say anything until he was done. I could hardly hear him. He hardly spoke clear english. I would know if I am in trouble because every 60 days I go through a US Government background check as I do contract work for the government. I don't know where they get their information but they quoted the last four numbers of my social security number correctly.
A guy with an Indian accent called me over and over and said I would have to pay a set amount by a certain time or the police will come to my home at 11am and arrest me. The # to call back is 334-539-3246 he said his name wa Bary Watson. What should I do?
