What if they don't give you a court date? They go to court and then you get the Judgement by Default in the mail the next day after they have filed in the court?
Now my letter says "Unless we hear from you within 15 days from the date of this letter, we may recommend to our client that an Execution be forwarded to the Sheriff in Berkeley County and instructing the Sheriff to levy against your personal or real property to satisfy this judgement."
To many lawyers world needs another [***] hole like you bud .If it was not for the working class people you would be broke as a joke cause i would say you probably can not even check the oil in your car or lack of better get a job as a volunteer .
Brock and Scott, along with Bullhead are involved in a nice little scheme. Bullhead buys the junk debt and Brock and Scott collects the money. Brock and Scott file judgments without the victims knowledge and you are lucky if you ever find out about it, so you never have your day in court and all ruling go in their favor since you don't show up. Nice scheme - unfortunately, they are getting away with it. The pulled a fast one on my wife and she was blind sided by Brock and Scott and Bullhead and was intimidated into a repayment agreement. They only take direct debits from your checking account or the negotiations fall apart and they won't take your offer. They need closed down and sent to jail. The are crooks in the debt collection business. We asked for debt validation and got a copy of a cardmember agreement - no names, no dates, no nothing - just a copy of an agreement that could have come from anywhere. Be very careful if these creeps ever contact you - they are just above the law and probably not even legal. They should be shut down by the North Carolina Attorney General - appantly he doesn't have the stones to deal with them. They are an embarrassment to North Carolina!
This company called a neighbor of my 80 year old mother today about a debt they say she owes, but she has never heard of them, and is not aware of any outstanding debts. She has been battling colon cancer for the past 6 years and recently had 2 very dangerous and painful surgeries to remove 2 tumors and have colostomy installed. I looked through all of her papers and I cannot find any letters from any creditors that say she owes them anything. They broke the law by calling a neighbor and telling them they were trying to get her phone number, which is the same phone number she has had for many years. I would never talk to them or pay them a dime. I know her mortage is paid, as well as any other debts as I as her son and power of atty. have them drafted from my checking acct. on a monthly basis.These people are snakes.
