yes keep calling and no one answers and cannot call them back ie rings no answer. really. Verizon needs to do something. There response I could get a new phone number. wow
Live in PA and received a call from this # on my cell phone. Tried calling back, but no answer. Tried to block call through my phone, but said it wasn't able to block #.
This is an ongoing problem. I get the same calls that others are complaining about. I get these calls daily. It is quite a nuisance. Does anyone know if the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) can, or will, do anything to assist the public with repeated nuisance calls such as these? I get calls from 336-474-8988 and 607-252-6846 and 925-206-3580. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
I reviewed some more posts from people who have been receiving these calls, (and believe me there are many of us), and I came across this post which some of you may find helpful......
"I asked to be taken off their list and they called more frequently.
I called the Nuisance Call Center (800) 257-2969 and filed a report.
They WILL get fined.
In addition, I called the FCC (888) 225-5322 and advised them they were calling a minor which compounded their pending penalty.
Make sure you leave them a formal message as this will make them take you seriously, but make sure you call both the FCC and Nuisance Call Center so they can get fined.
I went from 4-5 annoying calls to no calls in a matter of 24 hours.".........
It may be worth a try folks. Especially if enough of us complain directly to the FCC.
