Another consideration may be to FORWARD calls from the numbers that you deem to be a nuisance directly to the FCC's number. I intend to research this further because I believe that there are applications available for Android phones to do just that. Too bad we have to go to that extreme but if they have the time to annoy people, then they can decide if the fine is worth it to them to continue to annoy people.
The Nuisance Call Center is now part of Verizon Unlawful Call Center and you have to have an account with Verizon for assistance. But thank you very much for sharing this information as I know it will help a lot of people out! Sadly, not me. :(
I have received many calls from this number and since i don't recognize it, I normally don't answer.
But now it is happening more often.
I will probably do what Tandel did and call the Nuisance Call Center (800) 257-2969 and file a report and call the FCC (888) 225-5322 .
