Receive 4-5 calls a day on my work cell. I answered once and nothing but Spanish recording,but they are a Survey and Opinion company working for US Polital Candidates. Not interested and very upsetting when in meeting to breceive their nonsense. The phone is for or EMS company use, not their garbage. The phone is even registered with Do Not Call to stop this stuff from happening.
Said it was some time of research group conducting a survey on consumer products. I asked what consumer products, she said orange juice, chewing gum, tobacco. The lady seemed confused about how to respond to my basic questions about why the heck she was calling me, and there was a bunch of conversation in the background like she was in a Starbucks during the 15 to 20 second of silence in between asking her a basic question. Told her no thank you and hung up.
Note to survey companies, if you don't sound legit and professional, people are going to question why you're calling them, especially given how much identity fraud and phone hacking is happening nowadays. Make your case professionally about why someone should participate or be prepared to be hung up on.
