Called me at 7:00am (!). I was asleep though I wouldn't have answered anyway since it's an unfamiliar number. Didn't leave a message. As a note to whoever this is, don't call people at 7:00am on a Saturday. Or any day. Or just don't call.
I got a call at 7:54 pm and they didn't leave a VM but I did call them back. Their VM says they are a survey company for brands and politicians. I think they're just trying to do their job, but the late night or early morning calls some of you have gotten are a little crazy.
So this is a call center for electric utilities across the country. They somehow get your records from calling your electric provider. "We are calling because we saw that you had called your electric provider to take care of an issue, can you tell us what it as about?" Total bullshiz!
I've been getting calls from this number for months now. It happens once every few days or so, sometimes more frequently. I've never answered any of their calls. My caller ID says the call comes from Greensboro, NC, and I have my facebook set up to where I get a notification if anyone logs in from another device or anything like that. Every once in a while I'll get one of those notifications and it'll say my account was accessed from an Android device in Greensboro, NC. I actually just got another one of these notifications at 3:36 am. I've noticed that the people that have answered these calls all say the same few things, that it's related to electricity, surveys, or political stuff. There's not just one purpose behind this number, it's very fishy. From what I've read it seems I'm the only one who also has suspicious facebook activity that comes back to this number.
