I too just received a call with the same exact message as Randy above. 7:45 March 17, 2010. This is definitley a scam as I don't even have an ATM card with my federal credit union! Who should we call to report this?
I did too, called back got a guy from North Carolina that said he's received 100 voicemails and 5 calls right before mine, sounds like someone hacked his number for a scam operation.
Yes I just got a call from this number telling me my credit card had been compromised and wanted to re-activate my card. They said they were from the Central Bank of Kansas. I just hung up on them because I knew it was a scam.
My turn to get a call from this number. It was an automated message which said that they were calling on behalf of the Federal Credit Union and my ATM Card has been accessed and therefore deactivated. I had the option of pressing 1 to be connected to their 'security' department to reactive the card. I hung up and tried calling back. the lady who answered said that they were the Richardson Corporation and that they have not been calling anyone - that it was a scam and they've been getting lots of calls back and that, if I get another call, I shouldn't give them any personal information.
