Similar thing happened at my work. Gentleman had a different name but same company and acted like he had already been talking to the owner and actually asked for his cell. I took his info instead and said I would let the owner know he called. Said he wanted to do a camera demonstration. After we hung up, I tried to find BIT Equipment online with no luck. There is a BIT something company that does surveillance and the area code is the same but the name doesn't quite match.
Mr. Keith called my shop which I own with my husband, he asked for him by name I asked was it truck related he said yes. my husband stopped what he was doing to come get on the phone. When my husband got on the phone Keith tried selling something to him. when I called to complain no one would answer.
I just received a call from this number. Yes, the caller also asked for my boss by name. When I told the called he was not available, the caller asked for his cell #. When I asked what this was in reference to, the caller stated the company name was BIT Equipment. Stated this was regarding a camera security system. Even asked as I was requesting to be taken off the call list, what type of system do we have? Again, I stated to be taken off the call list.

Rocky from BIT called today to request to speak with the owners of the company and was quite rude! I advised that we have received calls from BIT in the past and that we are not interested in their cameras or any other products. Please note that the phone number is still 336-617-5479.
This is the 4th call from this company in less than 1 month.

Heard a lot of people talking, but nothing was said to me, at least they could say their name first.
