This is exactly how it played or for me just now. I could sense it wasn't right but I let him talk anyway just in case then he started laughing while he asked for a donation.
337-453-0696 called at 7:36 pm on July 28, 2015, but did not leave message. Called number back and phone greeting stated "This is Magic Jack". Voice Mailbox is full.
Just got a call from 337-453-0696 claiming to be from a police association. Glad to read others' comments about these scammers. Called the number back and also got a mailbox for MagicBox. It let me leave a message so I told them about Karma. I said that it's a law of physics and when bad things start happening to them or their families, they can only blame themselves.
Received a 2nd call from this caller-id # on 8-04-15 at 4:14 PM, they did not leave a message. Called # back and got mailbox for"Magic Jack" and could not leave message because box was full.
Received call on my cell phone. Let it go to voicemail due to not recognizing number. No message left. Came straight here to check out what it was. I'm so tired of these types of calls!
