8/29/13 - 2:34 p.m.  - Rec'd call - no message left - heard some whispering in the background before they hung-up - caller ID said "Name Unavailable"

Definite scam. Microsoft does not call you nor do they contract third parties to call you.  They have a warning about this scam on their website.

Called me just now.  There was delay on line and I said "hello " rather loudly because I couldn't hear anyone and the gentleman who got on the line called me some not very nice names.

"Name Unavailable" was shown on the screen. Figuring it was simply another telemarketer, we let the phone ring. The answering machine came on. A male with a foreign accent (Indian?) kept repeating "Hello? When the "beep" came on, the phone connection was broken by the calling party...left no message other than "Hello?"
