Seems like a scam.
I spoke to this guy for about 10 minutes. He kept saying this was an "awareness" call, regarding my computer. I asked which computer he was referring to. He said, "my windows machine". I said I use a Mac. He said "don't worry, we have good Mac technicians, too". He said it was in regards to an antivirus warning. I told him I have a good Antivirus, and I didn't receive any warnings. I asked why he's calling me. He just said it's in regards to my computer. I asked who he's calling? "everybody". He claims he's calling EVERYBODY, one by one, and I'm one of those people. At that point I hung up.
I wanted to find out what he's selling, how he's going to try to get my money, or something, but he couldn't even get to the point quickly enough for me. He didn't speak English too well, so his accent was difficult to get through. It did sound noisy in the background.
