got the same scam as all the rest RAH number and blah blah blah yesterday from 339-368-7411 (lady) and today 218-257-4194 (man) both recording and same exact wording. ridiculous. I don't owe any money.
This is a SCAM. They have called 4 or 5 days in a row. When I was FINALLY able to reach someone they referenced an unpaid car loan with a bank that I haven't had an account with in years. They do have some valid info on me, which is scary, but I don't owe anyone any money. When I demanded a hard copy through the mail, which is my right under fair collection practices, they got rude and basically hung up on me. DO NOT let them intimidate you. Know your rights! The FTC offers 1 free credit report per year that you can check if you aren't sure an old account was completely paid off!

They have called me a few times now, and my wife. They will not provide you with a validation notice/proof of debt. A couple of days ago I got a call from an unknown number but was the same guy, Eric Williams that had previously called from "GB Financial", but this time calling himself Durahn Johnson (spelling?) claiming he was a state locator from the processing division (no such division, and never heard of a state locator). He stated he received a fax order regarding a civil complaint to be filed against me from the County Clerk's office, and if I wanted to resolve this matter I should contact the client ASAP at 216-370-3491 and that I had been officially notified of this matter. They are actually kind of comical at this point.
218-257-4194. Same scam I reported 2 days ago above from the 339 number...Yesterday I called them back. They threatened me with violence. Ooooh So scared.
