Asked for me but didn't recognize the number so said I wasn't home. Man had a Texas accent. Said they'd call back. Sounds like a scam.

Yes he must have a lot of lady friends because when he called me he asked for Samantha. Lol

Man with Southern accent called and asked "Is the man or lady of the house in?"

I told him that 1972 had been calling everyday and asked me to give him a message: "We want our telephone-solicitation script back!"

"National Police Trooper Association" is what the man said. Area code was Houston. He knew my name despite me having an unlisted number for maybe 40 years. I hung up on him but it sounded like he was soliciting for some charity / scam.
