Got a call from 346-204-8362 this morning saying they were from the IRS and that suit was being filed against me for defrauding the IRS. She said an arrest warrant had been issued in my name and if I didn't pay at least half of the amount and set up a payment plan for the rest, a sheriff would arrive at my house in 15 minutes to arrest me. I knew it was a scam or two reasons: I don't owe anything to the IRS, and when I asked what county the arrest warrant had been issued in, she was unable to tell me. It definitely shook me for a while but after reporting it to local police and the IRS, I have been assured it's a scam. Definitely scary that while she didn't have updated information on me, she did have an old address from where I lived when I was in college.
I also received call from 346-204*8362. called them back and who ever answered couldn't even speak english. IRS does not call you, they send letters through the mail. Don't fall for this.
