Scam. #1 The IRS does not call. #2 The use of a computer-generated voice suggests the callers are probably masking a foreign accent. #3 The IRS does not call.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I also received a message from the same number which initially gave me a start but was suspicious that the IRS would communicate such a message via phone.
What bothers me is that the first reports of this scam came in nearly a week ago and they are still operating. I reported it to the Federal Trade Commission - hopefully all these complaints will lead to some action but in the meantime be vigilant.
Here is the voice message:
Hello, this call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 346-204-8362 I repeat 346-204-8362 Thank you?
