They said they were from the US gov and I was specially selected to win a $7000 grant. I said "oh oh oh wait!!! Let me guess!!!! you want my bank account information and bra size????"
This US government called about grant money that I have received of $7,000 that I do not have to pay back at all in life, and I said oh really how did I really get this and then I called them out and said if I was to get money from the government, then why wouldn't i just get a letter in the mail with a check saying I actually got money from the government and she got very defensive and then didn't know what to say and then I said get a real job and get a life and she hung up on me. I called back and it said they were busy or something and sometimes it said phone isn't completed as dial. Whatever...... this is a prank!!!
I got the EXACT same kind of call except they offered me $9000 I started asking my own questions like a callback number. She hung up on me. She claimed to be in DC with a NY number. Lol I knew better.
I got a call from this number today. She called me by name. She told me I had been awarded a $9000 Grant. I was all ears til she said she was calling from DC. The area code 347 I already knew was a NY area code so I started asking my own questions. Like her name and a call back number. Then she hung up. I called the number back and it was "disconnected" then I found this site. Definitely a scam.
