This was my first telemarketer/scammer call on my home phone that I've received in the six or so months I've had it. It was the credit card interest rate scam. Since I'm not charged minutes on it like on my cell phone where I've been getting multitudinous scam calls, I answered it. I would have liked the Indian-sounding person on the line a lot longer, but after about five minutes of him trying to get a "correct" credit card number, the jerk gave up and hung up on me.
I'm glad my VoIP number finally made it to telemarketer/scammers' list so that now I cane waste much more of their time.
This number called 3 times in a row...first time id was market...second and third time id displayed Dan Bellantuono......I picked up the phone on second called and said nothing and again on third call..made thejerk made cause he shouted Answer me you f--king piece of s--t then said f--k you and hung up...i have filed a complaint with fcc do not call
I had a similar experience with these a holes trying to scam me, how does one go about reporting it to the fcc, cause Im fed up with it. Earlier this year I got zapped by the IRS scammers using the green dot cards to the tune of $1,500.00. I want to report the numbers all these scums are using.
these people are calling under the premise that they are from the "card member services" and are offering rate reductions to people who have paid on time and have high credit ratings over 700. they offer a rate as low as 6% fixed, which istn how it works, rates are tied in to the prime rate no such thing as fixed rate on credit card anymore, then they slip in that youll be charged 990.00 dollars for it but it will be absorbed by the person (me) continuing to pay the min payment at the higher rate for example $240.00 at the old rate of 16.99% rather than $130.00 at the supposed rate of 6%. its a scam and people need to know, I hung up and called my bank to confirm they were indead trying to defraud me.
