Just wasted half an hour googling more than a dozen numbers which all called over the last week after registering a domain name at GoDaddy dot com; I've used them for years and this has never happened before. My question is: Has GoDaddy started sharing their customer's data, or are there lurkers out there watching the website in real time as their customers register new products...? I didn't pay for privacy on this one but it's only parked, not in use and not listed. Or is Google causing this crap to happen. A shameful place this world has become.
I answered the phone, however, I did not say anything, the caller appeared to be a male of Indian decent, after 10 seconds or so he hung up. I did not say anything simply because there is no legit reason that anyone should be calling as I do not use my phone much, now I realize that some of my site profiles contain my phone number, so it could have been some spammer attemping to sell his SEO/Site services as I get a number of these type of emails all the time, and they get this information from whois database.
