called @ 9pm - wtf, mate - can i block?

(347) 274-2125 calls started yesterday at 5:30pm then 7:45pm and again this morning at 9:30am.  Will be reporting them to the phone company.

Received call on Sunday 4:14 p.m. no message left?  Don't know anyone living in Queens, NY

Called number back...Verizon phone number not in service

I have been getting calls from this phone number for months, twice a day. Most of the time no one answers but when they do, they say they are from a charity looking for donations. They are usually from a police association, fire fighters association or cancer research group. I don't trust them. If anyone knows how to stop this please let me know.

I'm sorry to hear that I'm not the only one getting these calls.  They are driving me nuts and, as everyone notes, there's never anyone there, and when I try to call back I get the recording saying that the number is no longer in service. Isn't there anything anyone can do?
