Stated they are the IRS and that they have tried numerous times to contact me. Must call regarding legal case against me. No case number given. No details given. Left this number to return call.
Threatening phone call from IRS saying final notice and they were filing legal proceedings against me. Caller ID said pay phone 607-527-8802. Must have been a field agent with no cell phone!
Received a phone call ID Private Caller with an automated message saying the IRS is filling a lawsuit against us and to contact 347-284-6504. When I called this number, the man on the other end just kept saying "Hello".
Received a phone call from pay phone # 217-398-9755 stating that this was the last call and they have been trying to reach me. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Call 347-284-6504 immediately. Obviously a scam... did not call. Please warn any elderly people you know about the scam.
