Yes, just like all the rest. This as a message on answering device. Female, of foreign decent that had a hint of accent even with very good english. Stated they are the IRS and that they have tried numerous times to contact me. Must call regarding legal case against me. No case number given. No details given. Left this number to return call.
I just call the number over and over and either talk to them for 30 minutes like I want to pay and then say "You've been scammed" or say that I am calling to verify their pizza order or some other such nonsense. It doesn't do any good really other than keep them from harrasing other people!
Received a call from 760-733-9829, but the phone number they said to call was 347-284-6504. Mechanized voice telling me IRS is going to sue me, which they aren't, and if they were, they wouldn't call me to tell me :-) Scammers lead such a sad life.
