I have beening getting the same phone calls from #347-289-3901 stated that i owe a payday loan saying that if i do not pay them i will be arrested the guys names Joe Marshal and Loyd Banks.This is some scary [***] they have my SSN,ADDRESS,B-DAY My husband went off on them and they never called back.
Read this gets funny!!! I kept getting a call from 347 289 3901!! Please do not pay these people, I called them back becasue they called me at work saying they had a affidavit for me and if I didnt pay I would be served with a lawsuit, as well as my friend who was a reference! I called my bank and asked about these charges and they showed no record, then I saw this thread and called them back, and I have a recording of our conversation, the man Joe Marshall went on to say he was going to call my employer 50,000x he had 180 employees working for him and each of them was going to call 2 times for the next hour, that never happened!! As well as he went on to call me a bloody [***], and he kept saying I will F*&6 you! I asked where he was located and he told me behind me doing me in the a*&!!! Now I am calling them back recording all the conversations because they are getting pretty funny, now that I know this is a scam and I don't owe this phony company any money!!! I will keep calling he is getting very angry, and it is making my day!!
I have gotten calls from a 11111111 number and 347-289-3901. They have called my cell for weeks then it stops then starts again. I got skeptical when they could never give me any information I've gotten the rep name of Michael James and James Smith. They called me at work for the first time (that I know of) and I told them that I no longer worked here and he said f*** you that pisssed me off and made me laugh. That's when I knew they were desperate. So I finally called back and asked them for information after reading some of these posts. After he gave me the same name just in a different order and proceeded to tell me how he had an affadavit and all the blah, blah, blah. I told him that I knew they were a scam and that they can keep the Bulls*** and hung up. We'll see what happens.
Quite to the contrary of the following posts the calls from (347) 289-3901 are legitimate collection calls. In most cases the subject who receives this call has taken out a payday loan and has defaulted on the loan. We are not making threats of legal action but are informing the subject that the loan needs to be paid in order to avoid pending legal action. We are in fact providing a service for the subject,providing them an oppurtunity to avoid expensive legal action.
