Yes, I get them repeatedly. Today I went so far as to "bite" to get more information. None of the references or companies, "they work with" are valid. The attorney's office they said that they were representing does not exist. Everytime they call it is from another contact number but the return call number is always the same. Alex called the last time and I confronted him regarding the lies he had told. I also contacted the governmental body that regulates and works at finding these folks who are trying to scam others. Alex called back, I answered the phone and he acted indignant that I didn't call him back after an hour. I told him I checked him out and unfortunately the references he gave me were not valid and that I had reported him to the proper authorities. He hung up on me after becoming very frustrated with me. Same scenario with the cost for settlement
OMG! I received the same phone calls from this same guy Sean Williams telling me I had an award in the amoung to 25,000 but I needed to purchase a 3.95 card then put 110.00 just to hold until the money is sent...also asked how I would like to receive my funds Western Union or FedEx. I asked for the atty name which he said Robert Nicholson.. He became angry when I told him I never rec'd any ltr or notification of this lawsuit and I should NEVER have to pay anything if its owed to me...So I hung up.
I just received the same kind of call I was suppose to get a Green Dot Money Pak and load 111.00 and then get a check for 37,000 dollars. His Name was Danny Williams with a very thick accent. 347-298-7897 ext 108 .
I have been getting these calls for over a year now and they keep calling they said i won a settlement for my sons heart condition in the amount of 37,000 and i could get it by check or wester union then he said there was an issue with my filling " i never filled anything" and that i needed to pay 111.00$ with a green dot voucher for 4.95$. When i told him i shouldnt have to pay for a settlement ment he got very upset. He gave me a web site FDA.gov. His name was Danny Williams but he had a very heavy accent! This is a scam. Has anyone looked into this?
