This # called at my grandparents' house asking to speak to my grandmother by her nickname not her real name. I stated she was deaf and asked if I could take a message. He explained why he was calling and that the address was selected for home improvement (her house is only a few years old). I interrupted and asked him to take the address off the list. He got ugly with me and told me "shut up, do not interrupt me". So I replied "excuse me, you called me and you are telling me to shut up". He got even uglier so I called him an [***] to which he replied saying I was the [***]. I hung up on him.
Extremely rude phone call from an Indian man trying to sell home improvement... When I told him that I do my own self improvement he called me a f%$#^&g a%^&*le among many other abusive comments! Wish I could find a way to make this guy pay for his BS!
These people have been calling me daily for the past two weeks. I got their number off my phone and it is 1 327 321 4768, supposedly in New York City. I told them I do not need their services and have asked at least three times that they not call again. They ignore this request. I am on "Do Not Call" Registry.
This was exactly as described by Rob in Feb 2013. Strong Indian accent and offering home improvement. Told him I wasn't interested, but wondered if it could have been related to some calls I have made recently concerning home improvements, although the caller id said New York and I am in south Florida. (There is a strong connection between New York and south Florida, you know!) I'm glad I acted on my intuition after reading some of these comments!
