Received email from a Mary Thomas who claimed I was behind on a so called payday loan and needed to call this number to discuss. Have no idea who this is and suspect this is a scam. Will not call her and will refer to the authorities in the meantime. Does not say who she represents and have not gotten anything in the mail.
I just got the same exact email showing the same exact amount! I just googled the phone # and come upon this site. Disgusting that people get away with this!
Request that they send you a letter in the mail or deliver a letter to.your address and tell them that you are not paying them until you see it in writing.
if you look carefully the e mail doesn't have your email address attached to it, nor a name, it simply says dear debtor, no SCAM HERE, they have to send out a validation of debt by regular mail, screw these guys and their fake [***] e mails I will never buy into what their trying to do or say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just laugh and block these good for nothing idiots.
I got the exact same message in an email with the same amount owed. Oddly enough about 2 months ago I received a note from the post office that I had a certified letter waiting to be picked up at the post office. I ignored it never picked it up and now this email suddenly appears. I am ignoring that too.I have received calls letters and emails for many years from who I think are the same people and nothing has happened to me yet after all their threats. They changed the wording in their messages from threats of bringing me to court to this new strategy of irs. Whoever they are they continue to send these communications but cant do a thing and so my advise to everyone is despite the nuisance to just ignore them.
