Utter pure junk. Icould tell it was junk and picked up the phone saying "what do you want to sell me." That is not in the script so there was a big long pause. Then the person, very very strong accent, started talking about energy and such and after about 30 seconds, he/she hung up on me!! I love to waste their time and make them mad, but I didn't even need to try with this one.
Heavy accented woman wanted to confirm my personal info & to get my gas/electric bill Acct. # to start saving me on my bills according to Maryland new law? Bull!! Scam artist! Save their number under 'DON'T ANSWER ' so next time they call you know not yo answer or Tell them u live n a utility free place, sad these thieves think they can pull wool over everyone's eyes! They know people are experiencing high bills now! Shameless criminals! alert your elderly relatives!
Caller ID said "New York NY". Person had a foreign accent. They asked for me by name. I did not acknowledge who I was, I replied "who are you?". They said they were from "Greenlight Energy" (I'm not sure if I have the name exactly right, since they were not very loud". I jumped to "what is your rate per kilowatt hour?", which they replied "we will send that to you in a letter". I replied, "I do not want you to send me anything, what is your rate?". At that point they hung up.
