Got a call, at work, from a guy saying he was from Public Consolidation Services and there was a case filed with my SSN (and he had the correct last four digits!). I went through bankruptcy last year so I know that this wasn't valid.
I told him that I knew nothing about this and if he wanted to discuss this with me he could call my cell phone. So he asked if I was available now on my cell and I reiterated that I was at work. He wouldn't let up unless I gave him a specific time to call back. I finally hung up on him because he wouldn't quit. So, of course, he called me back immediately and I answered the phone by saying "I asked you not to call this number anymore." To which he started YELLING at me to provide a time he could call me (why he felt the need to yell that is beyond me). I told him not to yell at me and mentioned that I looked up his number and it said he's a scam and fraudulent. His response was to scream at me "Let me talk to your boss! Who is your manager!?" I told him that if he kept harassing me that I was going to report him to the BBB and he screamed at me that he was going to plaster my name and SSN all over the internet saying I was a cheater and a liar. I told him that threatening me was illegal and he kept screaming at me to put my manager on the phone so I hung up on him.
He called back once more immediately, on my work phone, and I sent him to voicemail. My cell phone is turned off right now, but I can bet I'll have a bunch of nasty VMs when I turn it on....
THEY CALL MY JOB TALKING ABOUT MY FAMILY WILL BE PICK UP AND SOMETHING ABOUT ME LOSING MY JOB. LAST TIME I CHECK MY LAWYER WAS FIXING EVERYTHING FOR ME. SO THEY GOT UPSET AND STARTING CUSSING EVERYONE OUT ON MY JOB...
BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER IT A YOUNG INDIAN MAN CALLING ME BI**HS AND EVERY THING. THEY KEEP SAYING PAY THEM THIS MONEY OR A LAWSUIT IS COMING AFTER ME.
Who are these guys? They told me that they were calling me from The Sheriff Department of Brooklyn New York. They had my Social and my place of employment. They had all my information. Spoke English with an Indian accent. Who are they?
