Got a voice mail from this number, claimed it was a "Mike Davis". Stated that my name and SSN # were under a state investigation. They have called several times always the same voice, but different number. They have the last 4 of my SSN number correct, but then have a wrong name with it. Then the next call had a different name (suppose to be me) with the right last 4 of my SSN. They also call from 347-439-7336. This is just a scam that is going around. I have never been in any kind of trouble nor have I ever broke any laws.

I've got a calls from this indian(?) guy for about 2 weeks now, with THREE different numbers (282-726-2524, 410-834-2822 and 347-349-7287)so far. Same story as above. I've told them not to call me but they are still callings and calling. This indian(?) people have not just my last 4 of SSN but full. how they even got my Info? and from where? It is irritating and shame.. we are paying to third country workers to have our own people's identities.... I guess it is time for me to change my hone number :(
Same number is calling me. They have my name, phone number, email, social security, and bank account number. I don't know what to do but I am about to get on the phone with police in the area code and see what can be done.
just got a call from this number saying im in big big trouble screaming at my friend who answered my phone and then repeated my social security number to that person.... never been in trouble before nor done anything illegal and then when i asked for a manager he hung up on me, i called back and asked for a manager and i was told by "front desk person" that sounded just like the same guy that called me that he cannot answer any of my questions even when i asked if he was even from america
I received this as well. They claim to be from the "financial law" department of "Cash Advance America." I have taken out cash advances, but not from that company. When submitted my information for the cash advance, many hundreds of places began contacting me. This one seems more insidious because it appears they are attempting to get me to agree that I owe money. If I do agree I owe money then send money, I would be acknowledging the debt and then be obligated to pay by law. Once I have confirmed the company, gotten their address and other contact information, I am reporting them.
