"This message is from Internal Revenue Service"...(NOT "The" Internal...) A poor quality recording. No specific threats, just an "urgent issue requiring my immediate attention." This was the fifth call from this number this week. Persistent, annoying, and laughable.
I received the same poor quality recording as others have reported. I called the number and the person asked me if I was aware of the pending litigation. Then, he asked me to stay on the line as he read the charges. At that time, the phone was completely silent. He came back to the line, and then said he had to take another call. Again, the line was silent, so I hung up.
Hopefully, this is not some type of scam to pull information or use my line, while I'm on hold.
