Got the same email from Jessica Baker.

I also got a series of texts from Jessica Baker  email [email protected]
Whenever the English is not very good the red flags go up.   I never reply to them because they are scams.

This person wants to order Mary Kay products and I was contacted thru text message.

This is a scam--she lost her consultant to cancer.  She is hearing impaired and wants me to send address and phone number for her debtor to deliver check.  Says items are for her sisters wedding and he phone does not work to receive texts.
Do not reply but pass the word to other consultants who may be tempted to send order.

I received a text message from 347-354-7858.  The person identified themselves as Jessica Baker.  Said she got my contact info from my MaryKay website and wanted to order for her daughters up coming wedding.  Asked me if I could respond through email at [email protected] because the phone she uses doesn't hold text messages well.  I responded through email ultimately asking them for a mailing address so I can calculate the shipping and taxes and also letting them know they can also just go to my website and pay there.  They responded with rather wanting to pay with money order or cashier's/personal check because they don't have a credit card.  I responded by letting them know I will only accept a USPS money order.  Then they asked for my full name and complete address and phone number.  I saw red flags immediately.  If you saw my website then you already have my full name and phone number.  Then they wrote "No P.O. Box" and also "I will instruct my debtor to make arrangement...".

No p.o. box request from customer and the use of the word debtor made me do a search online.  That's how I found this site.  I also told her that I call my customers on the phone to confirm the total charged before actually charging.  She responded by saying she is hearing impaired and can send a text through the pc and make phone calls through the pc.  She still has not given me an address so I can calculate the final total and I have not given my address.  Since finding this site, I will definitely not being doing any such thing.
