Did NOT answer, message left on voicemail. Guy by the name of "Eric" with an Indian accent and broken up English, from the "Verification Dept of Public Consolidation Services" claiming that there is a lawsuit against my social security number.
They called my mom and left the same message. My moms English is limited and she asked me to look into it cause when she tried to call back there was not voice mail or answering service. Thank you for posting now I know for sure they are scammers. The red flag was that they only named her by her first name ...never her last. I hope they stop calling her.
Caller named Alex Martin asked for me by my first name. The number that showed up on caller id was 209-555-1214, but asked me to return his call to 347-380-8981. They called my house phone like 7 times in a row. Now they are calling my place of employment..these scammers need to be stopped
I also got a phone call from this guy named Logan Leonard(he pronounced it like Leo, then nard), and it was either an Indian or Iranian accent. He was saying that he was from Public Credit Services, or PCS, and that there is a law suit against me and my social security number. The number that pops up on my caller ID is 209-555-1214, and also the number 720-362-2623. Then I am also getting a Withheld popping up on my caller ID. It is a SCAM, and I hope these people get stopped. It is really annoying and I wish there was something that the authorities could do. I never did answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number. Glad I didn't!!! On his voice mail he left, he used my first and last name. He also told me to call him back at 347-380-8981.
I GOT A CALL FROM A GUY NAMED MAX WITH BCS CREDIT SERVICES. HE SAID THAT I HAD A LAWSUITE AGAINST MY SS NUMBER. THE NUMBER THAT CALLED ME WAS 209-555-1214. HE ALSO HAD A HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT.
Got a call from this number as well. I played into their little scam. I even sounded alarmed and told them i didn't want this kind of trouble. He said his name is Wince Davis and Reagan Fernandez. I mean come on, come up with better names that that. maybe stick with Achmed or Mustafa. I continued to ask him questions like which county or court this was being filed in. Couldn't tell me anything. Once i started to laugh and he got mad. He said he was coming to my house and i told him i would be there with my 12 gauge pointed at his head. He started laughing. What a joke! I guess these damn arab obama bin ladens don't have anything better to do.
