They have many complaints filed through the better business bureau. They are operating out of New York, Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, etc. They have tel-marketing companies working for them. They are very American.
They have called my cell phone number a couple of times. I do not answer as I do not know who they are. Plus my cell phone is listed on the "Do Not Call" list. They have never left a message.
They waste their money calling my cell, I never pick up the call which I don't recognize the number calling
makes me think how stupid they are !!! laughing......
I ported my number to my cell phone, and then to Google Voice. I have Google Voice "simulring" both my cell phone and my landline. I can answer either one, or even switch back and forth.
But in this context, it is an awesome way to cut down on garbage like these scammers/spammers. You can look at your history online and see the calls that have come in and the numbers that called (if they aren't "private") and can click on the check box and then click on the link to "block" that caller. Whenever they call they will get a message that that number has been disconnected or is no longer in service and you won't be bothered by them again, at least not from that number.
I love that feature, among others.
By the way, you can also set your phone to ignore calls from "private callers", but I've had a few that are legitimate but for some reason the phone company lists them as a private caller. I think that problem may be an intermittent issue for them.
