They have many complaints filed through the better business bureau. They are operating out of New York, Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, etc. They have tel-marketing companies working for them. They are very American.
seems the robo says I too have "won" a Walmart gift voucher. These fools don't get even one digit of my debit/credit card number. Quit bothering us working people and call someone who is just sitting home watching Jerry Springer anyway.

They use computers to dial EVERY possible # (317-888-0001, 317-888-0002, 317-888-0003, etc) when one rings, the computer sends the call to an "agent" (that is why they always say "hello" when you answer, they don't know if you have picked up yet!). If all the agents are busy, then you get "hung up" on when you answer or there simply isn't anyone there.
The way some of these companies work is if you do answer and talk to their rep (even to just tell them to go to H*LL!) your number get put in the rotation to be called more often since it is a known good number. Then they call with the other schemes they are offering.
Telemarketer calls that just hang up when you answer means they were only autodialing nubers to find out which ones were good/valid numbers where someone would pick up. If you pick up, you have now been added to a list of "good" numbers that they sell to other telemarketers. Do not ever pick up a number you don't know.
