Finding the Leasee of the Number
•Free online searches will most likely only show the original owner of the number, which can often refer to the holding company like Blue License Holdings, LLC. Finding the user of the number you are searching for when dealing with prepaid phones may require a professional number tracking service.

I too rec'd a sms/text from this number to make $1200.
I was researching solutions on google how to block unwanted phonecalls, sms, texts. Here's a link to an article I found. Hope this helps!

I got the same message as DrC (here on this list). That was my first text spam. I knew better than to open. I broke my own rule for cell phones...Don't answer any number that is not in my phone book" I received another text for a different # today, which I have reported. But, my simple solution is that I don't answer any calls from peeps who are not in my phone book.
This number sent me a text message that says "Getting harrassed by debt collectors? We can end the harrassment and even get you compensated. For info, text back you "DEBT AMOUNT" example:15k (STOP to cancel)"
I would recommend that if you get this message that you just delete the thread. Do not text back STOP. I believe they are just fishing for active numbers.
I agree dont text back. I got one thy said "Need some quick cash? You can easily get $1200 wired into your bank account today! For info, just reply back the word "PAY". (To cancel: reply STOP)"
Seems o me that they want to get your accOunt info which is ridiculous and I hope no one falls or that!
