We just got a call from American Unclaimed Money Corp. They said if we sent $700.00 they would deleiver a check with 2 security gaurds to our house for 3 million dollars. I told her it was a scam and they hung up..Phone call came from NY.
I got a call from Ashley at this number AFTER I had gotten a call from a man who had an awful accent and said something about a reward. I copied the number down to see where it was from. I was pretty sure it was a scam. I guess Ashley is still working for them or that's a code name. Be aware, you don't get something for nothing...
very strange and cryptic - Started asking questions - when pressed said they wanted to verify my winnings. I tokd Ashly she could have my winnings because she must need them more than me working at such a miserable job....She hung up
Someone named Jasmine left a message stating I had won $3.5 million and to call to claim my prize. Knowing it was a scam I called and Jasmine just happened to answer the phone. I asked how I won the money and she said either by subscribing to a magazine, Publishers Clearing House, use of a credit card and a few other phony answers so I said, you mean you don't really know how I won $3.5 million? She said yes. I said how much is it going to cost me to collect my winnings and she said $800. I said, what a scam and she hung up.
