After four days of harrassing phone calls to my dad at work I started looking for the number and found this blog. I decided to call with a fake name to see what they would tell me. Of course I owed them money even though I wasn't real. I started out all freaked out asking a whole bunch of questions and asking them where I was supposed to send them money. Then they asked me where I worked and I said I thought you had that information and they said they had to make sure it was me so I told them I was a secertary at a law firm and they quickly told me that they had the wrong name pulled up on the computer and there was no one by that name in there system and didn't understand why someone would have called me to tell me I was being investgated. He hung up on me.
My mother called pretending to be a lawyer and tried to ask questions they hung up on her four times and started cussing her out. They said they were going to have her arrested and put in prison for harrassing them. They told my dad that they will call his work 100 times a day just to get him fired from his job because he won't pay them. They scare you by saying you are being watched... How the hell can you watch someone from New York or my case, they say they are from California with a New York area code. I filed a complaint with the California Attorney Gerneral so I hope they get these guys who are making $1,000 off of scared people who don't know whats going on and just want them to stop calling them at work or home.
They are the worse kind of people... People who don't speak english and have your SSN. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING. Call them back with a lawyer or pretend to be one. They get scared and start yelling at you and they threaten to hurt you and put you in jail. The names change daily from Tony Williams, Roy Rogers, and Shaun Michaels. They won't have anything to do with you if they think you have connections with the police department or any kind of law firm. The more questions you ask the more threats they try to throw at you and the more money the try to ask for. They tell you if you get legal advice it could take to long and you will be put in jail before your lawyer even gets back to you. File a complaint with your police department to stop the phone calls and file complaints anywhere you can think of to help stop these people from getting any more information or money out of people.

I have take payday loans, when I was desperate, so I assume that is how they got my information. Stupid me.
Anyway, the names I have been given are: Mark Anderson, Mark Williams, Gary Johnson .
They wanted my permission to download my case to the Ohio state court. I told them that last I checked this is America and no one needs permission to sue someone.
I asked them over and over again to send my documentation of my supposed loan, told me they couldn't until I gave them permission to download the case.
I tried to give them my lawyers name and number and in fact said his name and number. They are like YOU HAVE HIM CALL ME.
This is the crazyest this I have ever had happen to me.
I am in the process of reporting them to the Attorney General in Mo.
I wish I could have recorded the calls.
Don't send them any money. Even if you owe a payday loan. DONT' SEND these freaks any money.
They had the nerve to call my Aunt. The persons name was Mark Williams. She called me to inform me that they called. I told her do not give any information. This is definitely a scam!!!!!!!!!
Very Similar information to what everyone else is saying. Receiving harassing calls from Law Investigation Department at 347-457-3030, Mark Williams. Criminal investigation, SS#, etc......Calling work, home, trying to embarass me. Would like these criminals punished for the fear they are trying to put into me. They are scum. I will not pay them a cent.
