We have been receiving calls from this number every day for about a month. The caller ID reads "New York, NY" but no caller name or company name is shown, so we always let it go straight to voice mail. No message is ever left. I was able to find out that the number was assigned by Sprint Communications Company, L.P. and the number is registered to Brooklyn, NY. I have just asked my phone company to block it.
I just got a call for this number, didn't know the number, didn't answer. No message was left.
In the past I have received calls from NYPD even though I do not live in NYC, I get calls from Yonkers, PD or FD, NYS State Troopers. I do the same thing as so many others here I tell them if they have my number they have my address so they can put their request in writing. If I choose to make a donation they will get a check. Number like so many similar numbers are now blocked.
