I received a call this morning from this number when I answered my phone no one said anything so I just hung up, well they just called my phone right now, I answered when an Indian guy with a very very thick accent started speaking I really thought that he said he was from the federal grains department haha I asked him what that was but he just repeated himself. But after going over all your guyses post I see that it's grants. Lol! After he said his whole spiel about the $9,000 which honestly I didn't understand anything except for what I thought was grains and nine thousand dollars I told him that I couldn't understand a single word that he had said. He replied by saying "motherf*c*e* do you understand that?" I laughed and hung up...
Supposedly US Government Grants & I qualified for ~$9Kish. Sounded like a sales pitch, lots of voices in the background, thick accent, couldn't understand the guy's questions. I ditched, at work & no time for BS.
Received call from 347-467-1047, person identified herself as Kathy Hill from (thick latino accent, noisy background like a phone bank) U.S. - Health and Human Services Department in Washington D.C. She stated that I had been selected for a federal grant of $9200 because I paid my bills on time, paid my taxes, not in bankrupcy in the past 6 months, and haven't been arrested. Started to ask personal information which I did not divulge. She pressed a little saying that she had all my information and she was just verifying it. She said I could receive the $$ via direct deposit to my bank account, onto my own credit card, or via western union. Just for fun, I chose the western union option. She said take down your Grant approval # and call 202-600-8836 to speak with the supervisor. I called the 202 number and there was no answer.

Called about 15 times today. I asked him to stop calling and he kept hanging up. I called the number back and told him to stop calling. He told me he would not and would not take me off his list. I just had to laugh at him.
