Just received a call from them saying they were the Federal Grant department. Then I asked if they were associated with the US gov. because I work for the government. He went on with his spill about how I was selected for $9000 in grant. and Then I repeated that I want to know the name of his company, and he hung up on me.
left recording saying there was a pending lawsuit against me, called back number all it did was ring. Called again and someone with an accent answered it IRS can I help u. I said no thanks, I don't talk to scammers.
Scam. Called me, didn't answer and left me a voice message that claimed from Internal Revenue service.. It was also a robot voice. Claimed an urgent matter.. Whatever. Got same call from different number just a few months ago.. getting kind of sick of this.
I received a call from the same entity in the same woman with an Asian voice has tried to scam me I also received a call from an Indian guy from the same number trying to scam me and now apparently a black guy by the name of Johnson Smith is trying to scam me these people need to get a life they're leeches, they're parasites, these scammers and identity thieves are the pariah of our society.
I answered this call, because it was from NY. I didn't say hello or anything, just waited to see who it was. There was no sound for 8 seconds and then it disconnected.
