Text is not a legal means of notifying anyone of either a civil suit or criminal charges. If you were actually being charged for a crime, the cops would show up and question you, then decide whether to arrest you or not. However - debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you've defaulted on a loan, you are not going to be charged. This is yet another scam attempt - ignore them, and block their number if possible.
