I have received two phone msgs at work from this same rude guy with a thick accent! Who states he's a paralegal and has court documents to file against me! I have done pay day loans in the past but will never do them again! I don't owe this guy anything except a bull horn in the phone.
I received a call on my job from this number. The man had a heavy foreign accent, but said his name was Jay Wilson. He also said that my attorney or I needed to call as soon as I received this message. He then went on to say that if I did not call he feels sorry for me. I was very confused!
I recieved messages from this number; 347 468 9537, three times tday at my work number. The same man with a thick middle eastern accent left 2 different names; Kevin Sirus & James Miller. He left a very non specific message stating that me or my lawer needs to call him back right away and not to disregard this message or it would be all on me. I called them and a woman answered; also had a thick middle eastern accent, she told me that there was a law suit agaist my social security number but had no other information about me. I told her that she was a con artist and that she wasn't permitted to call my number again or I would refer them to the police. The man called me back again around 8:40pm; I don't think that actual loan companies are permitted to call after a certain hour? Either way I think it's a con hoping to speak with people who don't know any better...
I also received a call from these people at work and on my cell. I believe the first time he stated his name was james and then the time he called my work number he left a message saying his name was Kevin.
I answered the time he called my cell phone and he asked me to confirm my name and last 4 of my ssn#. I asked where was he calling from and I think he stated from a law firm. I wouldn't do it...he then said I've talked with u from this # before. I disputed that info. He then said it was regarding legal charges against me. I hung up. He also had a very thick eastern accent. I don't belive these people either and I don't recommended confirming anything with them.
The next time I listened to the VM left on my work line and the man said his name was Kevin and that it was urgent that I return his call or he felt sorry for me. I called them today and asked what was the name of the company and Kevin stated Cash Advance.
I also did a spokeo.com serach on this phone # and it appears to be a residence possibly.
I just got a call from the same people stating that that i have a loan out and I don't. She verifed the last 4 of my social and email address. The guy that called me first was very rude told me that i had to call 347-468-9537 he got mad because i told him i didn't understand him. I looked at my phone and noticed that he called from the same number that he gave me to call. When I talked to the women she stated that I am not to interrupt her as she explains the case. I asked her for cash advance number she said she couldn't give it to me. I also asked her when I got the loan she said that her client didn't give her that info. I adviced her that if they are her client then she would have the information. I asked for how much she said the outstanding balance is 398.42 I asked her how much did I get she said she don't know. I told her that this is a fake because I had money on that day I had just got paid the day before. she said that they tried to take it out on 6/11/11 i got paid on 6/10/11. Told her she was lying. I told her that if she can't show me anything that i signed and faxed over or agreed to verbally then it is not me adv that she can take me to court. in the state of tx anything under 500.00 is really nothing. she hung up on me.
I called her back and it went to voicemail. I finally got through and she was even more rude. She asked me what I want I asked her why she hung up she said that she had nothing else to say to me and she told me all that i need to know. I asked for the number again she said either i can pay what i owe or go to court and she hung up on me again.
