I got a call from this 510-408-7473 number, asking for an but a man whose name I couldn't understand and that's not mine. He IDed himself as Duane Schneider, he sounded a little tipsy almost, and said to have a lawyer call his division at the 347-470-5671 number. This was left last evening. Today I got a string of 3 calls in a row from this number, 818-293-7443 with no message. I checked and there is a recent thread going about that one with similar language and exact phrases to the message left from the other number. Specifically, that me or my attorney of record must call them back or they just "wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me." He never said what it was about so who knows, it wasn't even me they're looking for. Whatever their racket is, they apparently have at least a handful of numbers they are using.
These people keep changing their number and the "agency" they work for. They will tell you all kinds of things and even threaten to kill members of your family. I have been in touch with the FBI and the Federal Trade Commision. It would be good advice for anyone receiving these calls to do the same. The Federal Trade Commission gives you a reference # whcih can be updated any time they call from different numbers. This protects you from them messing up your credit because if your credit gets screwed up because of these a**holes, you have a report on file with a reference number and the Credit Bureaus will take the negitive info off of your report. I have been dealing with these people for some time now and beleive me, there are people who pays these people. I will never succum to their tactics!!!

Somebody called me from this number and ask me for money..they all are bloody Asian..i dont give damn [***] them..bloody [***],,[***]....I have been in touch with the FBI and they are just tracking there calls...dont give a damn [***] if someone receive call from this number ,,they all are bloody scamer...a child of broken condom...

I got the call today(6-16-11) from the number 347-418-0337 saying its a law suit and he had my social secirity number and all. he sounded like he was on some good stuff! Saying " you or the person that represents you must call me immediTELY" THAT A-HOLE EVEN CALLED MY JOB HARASING ME AND MY BOSS!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!
This company called my home and left a threatening message on my answering machine. The message said that I should hire a lawyer for some federal charges that were filed against my husband and I. When I called the number back, the person on their end of the phone was the same person that left the message but he claimed he wasn't the same guy. He also would not release any information to me. He threatened to have my husband arrested if he didn't call back. But now the number when I do the search doesn't show up with any known number. The man on the line also claimed that they were from the federal government. Don't call these people back. They are just a scam.
