This heavy accented guy told me he was from windows technical support and I was going to get a terrible virus. I asked him what he was trying to sell and he told me nothing.
Tried this on us from this number as well as others in the past. He got as far as "IT" before the wife said "oh, please" and blew a whistle in his ear. They haven't called back.
Got a call from someone with a thick indian accent. Said he was from Microsoft tech support and that he was seeing warning messages coming from my computer. He said his name was Andy. He directed me to view event viewer under systems manager and to delete warning messages under event viewer. this is a scam. i am not sure what they were after but MS support does not have outbound tech support calls.
