They have called me numerous times and ID caller says: NWYRCYZN13, phone number: 347-441-4111. The guy who leaves the message names a former client of mine and says that he is from the FBI. The really funny thing is that this guys has a very thick Indian accent and says that his name is JOHN BROWN. Yeah right! LOL He says that the former client said that I am a relative of hers and she is in trouble with the law and I BETTER call him or I'll be in trouble with the FBI. Can you believe that? Some SHLUG is probably sitting at a dumpy call station in Mumbai and threatening me....as if I would ever believe that his name is John Brown! These people are beyond stupid. They're BRAIN DEAD. LMAO!
Repeated calls sometimes 3 or 4 a day, all they ever leave on the machine is "Hello.......HELLO.......I know your there pick up.......HELLLLLLOOOOO!!!"
A.) How freaking stupid are they really? Clearly an answering machine dumb-[***]!! And isn't the whole idea of a PRANK to make the one on the receiving end look stupid???? These people need professional help.
B.) If these people are actually getting paid to make these calls I strongly suggest to those in authority, that they screen their applicants a little better!!
I get a call from these people a few times a week. Reverse lookup says they're in Brooklyn, New York City. I think "NWYRCYZN13" means New York City Zone 13, which is the same info my reverse lookup gave me.
Last time they called I said I knew they were a scam, had already contacted the police about them and that I was now going to call the police again. The guy on the phone started calling for someone else saying "He says he's calling the police...." then the voice was muffled and they hung up. Way to act legit.
Shared the same experience as other posted. Could hardly undertand what they said on the phone. One said she was not selling anything and wouldn't hangup. I had to hangup on her. Another one called again the next day. I think she said they were calling from Rogers. I said I wasn't interested in anything. She hanged up before I completed my sentence.
These folks call me at least 5 tmes a day, it seems.. However, I never answer, as caller id only says New York number.......Anyone know how to swtop these calls?
