They have called me numerous times and ID caller says: NWYRCYZN13, phone number: 347-441-4111. The guy who leaves the message names a former client of mine and says that he is from the FBI. The really funny thing is that this guys has a very thick Indian accent and says that his name is JOHN BROWN. Yeah right! LOL He says that the former client said that I am a relative of hers and she is in trouble with the law and I BETTER call him or I'll be in trouble with the FBI. Can you believe that? Some SHLUG is probably sitting at a dumpy call station in Mumbai and threatening me....as if I would ever believe that his name is John Brown! These people are beyond stupid. They're BRAIN DEAD. LMAO!
I live in Canada - they call us 3-4 times a day. When we pick up they ask if we've seen a "blue stop sign" in our area. I say no, the stop signs are Red. Anyways.. they seem to be selling ADT alarm systems. I say we already have alarm..call ends abruptly with them saying they will call back.
I have been getting these calls quite often. When I amswer they do not say hello. Finally this mornng they answered and they are selling something to do with a alarm system. I said to the guy that can hardly speak english, that I already have one, and take my name off the calling list! Now, I have to wait and see if they try calling again.
Telemarketers use this machine to do the calling for them and they can hear though the machine if someone picks up the phone and says hello, or if it is an answering maching that picks up the phone. Unfortunatly if it is a person usually people are not loud enough like an answering machine therefore they don't hear us say "hello" unless we shout louder than the answering machine would respond. Thats why it would hang up if you just say "hello" then remain silent for those idiots to finally respond back. If you shout HELLO loud enough then the caller finally hears you and picks up their end to talk their Telemarketing ploy to you. When you can't hear them well enough or the fact they don't speak clear english well enough for you to understand what they are telling you mark that one up for immigration and people who moved into New York and found the worst job possible, Telemarketing. I don't like getting sucked into Telemarketing "scams" and loads are fake I agree. Last night I watched a show about these Telemarketing calls and you must phone the company they are calling from or about and asked to be taken off of their list. They don't like this however they are obliged to comply as if they don't it would be called harrassment and they can be sued for this and they know it. Anyway thats what I have learned and I hope everyone has a better nights sleeping knowing fully that we are the ones in charge, not them, so please take action and do as I suggest. If you choose not to then I might think your in for further disruption in your wonderious life, not to sound rude or anything... however please give this serious consideration.
